Early Morning Vow Renewal
Carolyn and Jackie joined us for an early morning vow renewal. They are celebrating 25 years married–an amazing milestone! They read their vows to each other while caressed by gorgeous morning lighting. They dressed the chapel in gold fabric with our bohemian fall florals, and Carolyn had on a gorgeous burgundy dress. These two were so sweet and excited about the day. Congratulations, Carolyn and Jackie!!

A friend introduced us. She was supposed to go out with him a few months earlier with me on a double date but he cancelled. They never made any other plans and never dated. So we didn’t meet until later in the year. For the first date, we went to eat and spent the whole time talking. It was like we had been friends for years.
He proposed to me. He took me back to the first date restaurant and proposed during dinner. He had given me a ring out of a bubble gum machine months earlier and I wore it all the time even though it turned my finger green. He was holding my hand and looked at the ring and said it’s turning your finger green. Maybe this one won’t and pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him.
We have always loved the area and have talked about renewing here for years. We are looking forward to The specialness of celebrating 25 years by renewing our vows to each other. We didn’t write our own when we got married but we are for this. I can’t wait to tell him how much I’m looking forward to 25 more years of loving him and “doing life” with him.
We love movies, beach trips and watching college football. We usually keep date night simple. Dinner and a movie either out or at home. As long as it’s just us together we are happy.
