Amanda and Ralph – June 18, 2021
Stress Free Southern Wedding
Amanda and Ralph brought their children and family to join us for a stress free southern wedding. They dressed the chapel in champagne fabric with our blush and marsala florals. You could see how much Amanda’s mom loved being with her, and these two had the most well behaved kiddos we’ve seen! They rolled with the heat, and Amanda looked amazing with her soft, romantic styling. They both got a little emotional during the ceremony which was super cute to see. Congratulations, Amanda and Ralph!!
From the Bride:
We met at Olive Garden 10 years ago. One day he wrote his number on a piece of paper at work and slipped it in my apron. Girls at work warned me not to go out with him since he had 5 kids already, but it was the best decision of my life not listening to everyone else. We’ve been together for 9 years. We added two more crazy kiddos and I couldn’t imagine it any other way.
For the first date, he was out of town retraining a store so I took a trip to see him and we went out to dinner, drank margaritas and danced in the parking lot after we left.
He proposed to me on Christmas Eve in front of my family before we opened presents. He knows I love Christmas and that was the best one yet!
Growing up my favorite family vacations were in Tennessee and once I saw pictures of Chapel in the Hollow on Pinterest and I was in love with how beautiful and simple it is!
I am looking forward to the ceremony and saying “I Do.” Celebrating us and our journey that lead us here! We have had our challenges, but I know whatever life throws at us, we will overcome it together.
Since covid pushed our wedding off a year, after seeing what dates we could do my mom joked about doing it on her birthday, I don’t think she expected us both to say yes but she was tickled until a couple weeks later realizing that means she will be baby sitting on her birthday every year so we can go out for our anniversary, she got a good laugh at that one.
We don’t take as many date nights as we should but one thing we both love doing is spending time with our families.
