Spring Micro Wedding in the Hollow- Erin and Jermaine

Erin and Jermaine – April 4, 2022

Spring Micro Wedding in the Hollow

For our first wedding back, Erin and Jermaine joined us for a sweet spring micro wedding in the hollow. They dressed the chapel in blush fabric with our moody florals, and she brought some super cute bouquets. They had some super fun flower people, and Erin looked SO gorgeous in her dress. Congratulations, Erin and Jermaine!

From the Bride:

We met when his daughters talked him into signing him up on Facebook dating. He sent me a message and I realized that he was my cousins partner and friend on the police dept. I waited a few days before I accepted his message. We met for the first time at our kids baseball fields. We spent hours text and messaging and our first date was after a baseball game and included our kids.

Our first date was after our kids baseball game. We had his son and my youngest son with us. We went to a local mexican restaurant and then walked to the park for the kids to play on the playground.

Jermaine proposed to me. We were scheduled to take family pictures because I wanted pictures made with us and all our kids together. My sister had also told me that her and her kids were going to be there to get photos made after we finished. The morning of the pictures I was getting my hair done at the salon and my sister asked if I would be okay if she asked our mom to come and get a picture of me, my sister, and my mom together. I thought that would be a great idea. I got to the location we were taking pictures at and my kids, Jermaine, his kids, and my sister and her family were all there. (My sister even had her family dress in matching outfits for pictures) We started taking all of our pictures and in the meantime my parents arrived. We had taken all the family pictures and were down to just the pictures of him and I together. We did a few poses and the last one was we had our backs to each other and were holding hands. We took a few pictures and suddenly I felt my arm go down. It suddenly hit me what was happening. My mouth dropped and I turned around and looked and he was down on one knee. I screamed and cried and said yes. Come to find out my sister and her family were not getting pictures made, nor was my mom. They all made it up to be able to be there for the proposal. It was a total surprise. It was PERFECT!!!!

We wanted a small destination wedding. I wanted something outside in the pretty trees. This was the only chapel that offered such a beautiful backdrop that we wanted. I fell in love with it immediately.

I am looking forward most to marrying my best friend and being surrounded by our family and closest friends.

We have 5 kids combined so most of our time revolves around them. We occasionally get a date night and we go to dinner with my sister and boyfriend.
