September Monday Micro Wedding – Ashley and Chris

 September Monday Micro Wedding

Ashley and Chris – September 29, 2025

There’s something magical about a September wedding in East Tennessee — the soft light filtering through the trees, the cool hint of fall in the air, and the cozy intimacy of a micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow. Ashley and Chris chose a Monday to say their “I dos,” and their wedding day was filled with love, joy, and a few happy tears that made it unforgettable.

Dusty Blue + White Elegance in the Woods

For their décor, Ashley and Chris selected our dusty blue and white fabric draping, perfectly paired with the blue and yellow floral and lantern package. This timeless combination created a soft, romantic look that complemented the natural beauty of our forest chapel. See more accessory options here.

Ashley looked effortlessly elegant in a sleek spaghetti-strap gown with a pearl-studded mid-length veil that danced in the September breeze. Her cream cowboy boots added a touch of country charm — a nod to her personality and the Southern setting.

A Family-Centered Ceremony

This wedding wasn’t just about two people coming together — it was about creating a family. Ashley’s moms helped her get ready, and her dad proudly walked her down the aisle. Chris’s reaction when he saw her was everything — full of emotion and happy tears.

The ceremony was made even more special because it was officiated by Chris’s father, with his three sons standing by his side. When the couple sealed their vows with a kiss, the family cheered — and Chris’s sons shed tears of joy, knowing Ashley was officially part of their family.

Bubble Exit + Jeep Love

Following the ceremony, Ashley and Chris shared a joyful bubble exit that had everyone smiling. Family portraits at the chapel captured the excitement of the day, and then the couple shared a few more bubble-filled moments for fun.

One of the highlights came when they made their way to our vintage 1941 Jeep Willys, a favorite photo spot at Chapel in the Hollow. This detail was extra special because both Ashley and Chris own Jeeps they’ve restored — making this moment a perfect symbol of their love story.

From the Bride

We met through my mother she was dating a friend of his. On our first date we went to a motorcycle party and had an amazing time the weather was perfect and the food was even better. After the party we rode on motorcycles home with my mom and her boyfriend. Chris then continued riding to a pier on the lake where he made up a cheesy reason to stop and walk the pier and at the end we had our first kiss. We have been together everyday since.

Chris proposed to me. I was at home on the couch taking a nap. He called me and woke me up. Told me to go outside and help him look for something in our shed. I went into the shed looking, I made a joke to him about not locking me in the shed. I turned around and he was on one knee. I cried and of course said yes. We picked East Tennessee for our wedding because it was our first place we went on vacation together. On our wedding day I can’t wait to see my soon to be husband in a suit!

We enjoy going to concerts, anything outdoors, spending quality time with our sons. We both have vintage jeeps that we have restored. We actually drive mine down from Ohio.
