Annie and Scott – July 31, 2020
Rustic Country Wedding
Annie and Scott joined us on July 31 2020 for their rustic country wedding. They have a real life Brady Bunch situation going on. They’ve known each other for 12 years and have been dating for the last couple. They came today with their 6 children to say their vows. Congratulations Annie and Scott!!
From the Bride and Groom:
We met at church. Annie was the director of the children’s service when Scott began teaching the fourth and fifth grade classes. We both enjoyed our passion for children and conversations about cattle we each cared for at our home farms. Not really sure we necessarily remember having a “first date”. We spent a lot of time together sharing our passion for agriculture and cattle which eventually led to us falling in love with each other!
Scott proposed on January 25th. It was a snowy winter day. We had decided to walk and check the newly born calves in the pasture. After some time looking, we were able to find all of them. We watched them play and run. As we were walking back to the truck, he kneeled down on one knee and ask me to marry him. With cows as our witness watching, I said yes!
We wanted a quiet wedding with just our family. Tennessee was the perfect location.
We enjoy the outdoors and spending time together. One of our favorite things to do is observe our newly born calves running and playing in one of our pastures. We enjoy seeing our children excited and full of life as we experience things together. A typical date may include a drive through the country to check out crops and neighboring activities, we’d have a quiet meal out and maybe shop or walk through a retail store together.
