Outdoor Micro Wedding – Jazmin and Devyn

Tears, Vows, and Sweet Summer Love

Outdoor Micro Wedding in the Smoky Mountains

Jazmin and Devyn – July 12, 2025

If you’re dreaming of an emotional, intimate outdoor wedding that feels like something straight out of a fairytale, look no further than Jazmin and Devyn’s micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow. Nestled in the forested foothills of East Tennessee, this sweet summer ceremony was filled with heartfelt moments, romantic boho details, and the kind of love that brings tears to your eyes — literally.

A Smoky Mountain Setting for a Heartfelt“I Do”

Jazmin and Devyn chose our forest venue for their outdoor micro wedding in the Smokies, and we couldn’t be more honored to have hosted their big day. With cream drapery and bohemian florals dressing the chapel, the space felt dreamy and romantic — the perfect backdrop for a couple as in love as these two.
Their ceremony took place on a warm July day, with soft cloud cover giving everything a hazy, magical glow. The boho-inspired setup brought a sense of relaxed elegance, while the lush green forest added depth and intimacy to the entire experience.

The Bride, the Groom, and All the Feels

Jazmin looked absolutely breathtaking in her ivory gown from JJ’s House, complete with flowy bell sleeves, a soft train, and a long veil that danced in the summer breeze. Her mom helped her get ready in our cozy bridal suite, and her dad walked her down the aisle — a moment that had everyone reaching for tissues.
Devyn kept his look sleek and simple in khaki pants and a black dress shirt from Haagar, letting his love for Jazmin shine through without distraction.
And when they saw each other across the aisle? Cue the waterworks. The tears started flowing, and by the time they met on the steps of the chapel, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. Their personalized vows were full of emotion, laughter, and promises of forever, making it a true tearjerker ceremony for everyone in attendance.

A Sweet Family Affair

This wasn’t just a union of two people — it was the celebration of a growing family. Jazmin and Devyn’s five-month-old baby boy stole the spotlight in the cutest way possible, making his presence felt during photos and giving the day a whole new level of sweetness.
After the ceremony, we captured family portraits under the canopy of trees before Jazmin’s mom graciously offered to watch the baby while the newlyweds wandered off for some romantic couple portraits. From mossy forest trails to golden clearings, every image glowed with the warmth of new beginnings.

A Forest Elopement with All the Right Touches

From the emotional vows to the soft styling, everything about this East Tennessee forest wedding felt intentional and infused with love. The couple exchanged rings from Brilliant Earth and Rings by Lux, adding a personal, ethical touch to their commitment. Hair and makeup by Wanderlust Salon added that effortless beauty glow, and photography by Star Noir Studio captured every raw and beautiful moment.
The ceremony was officiated by Ian Parrott, and the venue was beautifully adorned with Chapel in the Hollow’s bohemian florals, lending a cohesive, bohemian finish to the day.
From the Bride
We met through mutual friends in a college dorm room. The first date was kind of awkward because we are both shy and quiet people. We went to the movies.
Devyn proposed at night at a park in a gazebo with twinkle lights everywhere and a light up sign that said will you marry me. We love Tennessee, and it was our first place we traveled together out of our home state. On our wedding day, I can’t wait to marry the love of my life in front of all our family.
We like to go shopping and hang out with or friends and family. For date nights we like to go out to dinner or to the movies. More recently we like to order in and have movies nights at home with our baby.
