Kelli and April were our fourth Halloween mini wedding. Kelli was our first black wedding dress of the day, and it looked so gorgeous! She used a cathedral length veil that added tons of drama. They also brought a super cute small cake and some decor to give things a little extra oomph.

From the Brides:

We met in the Fall of 2017 at work. Long story short we were both in relationships (neither ever married) but the first time I seen April my soul fell in love with her. We spoke often at work until one day April left. I never knew where she went and I was extremely sad she wasn’t there anymore. She would occasionally ask coworkers about me through social media but I never could talk to her because I had my own life as did she. I thought about her so many times over the years which was really hard. In April of this year my 7 year relationship ended. All I could think about was April. I had a mutual friend contact April and to my surprise she had moved out of state right after she left work and she was also single. We started talking and she invited me to her hometown. One day I just took the jump and decided to go see her. I wasn’t sure how things would go or if the feelings I had all those years would go away or escalate when I would see her. She actually had to work the day I decided to surprise her so I drove to her job. When she walked outside I could only see the back of her and my soul literally cried out for her to come over to me. I knew in that moment that she was the love of my life. I have never been able to get her off of my mind and out of my heart all those years. She feels the exact same way about me. The way she explained us is that we are like magnets and it’s so true. We can’t get enough of each other and even through the years those feelings have remained so strong that it’s impossible to deny them. I moved from West Virgina to Virginia with her. Everything happens for a reason and through both of our journeys we came together at the perfect time. 2017 wasn’t the right time for either of us but 2021 was our year. We officially started dating May 9th 2021, got engaged July 29th 2021, and now we’re getting married October 31st 2021. I’m so excited for our lives together and so happy that we can now be together and forever. April proposed to me at night under the stars and moon on July 29th 2021. We were looking for a simple but yet elegant wedding spot and found Chapel in the Hollow and instantly knew it was the perfect spot for us. I’m most looking forward to getting married to the love of my life and having beautiful pictures taken of our big day. We wanted a Fall wedding because our love story began in the Fall of 2017 and Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. We love to look at the moon and stars while sitting on top of the car. We love to shop together and spend time with our families and our fur babies. We also love to work outside and make our home nice.
