Fall Wedding – Loryn and Dennis

Loryn and Dennis – November 21, 2020

Fall Wedding

Loryn and Dennis joined us for our first fall wedding on November 21st. We met them a while back when they came for a venue tour with her sister. We knew then that they were going to be fun to work with, and we were right!! Give me some good lighting and a cute couple, and I’m good, lol. They chose to go with a morning ceremony based on our lighting recommendations, and I just don’t think pictures get any better than this! This is probably my favorite picture ever at the creepy tree. I loved that she chose a non-traditional dress color–it really highlighted her skin tone and looked wonderful with the fall color. Dennis has a Ralph Macchio vibe going on with some style that reminds me a little of the new Magnum PI. Congratulations, Dennis and Loryn!!
From the Bride:
We met on World of Warcraft. For our first online date, we explored new areas of the map together and staying up late talking via skype. For our first date in real life, Ihop the night after his plane arrived from LAX. Lots of butterflies because I couldn’t believe he was finally within my grasp.
Dennis proposed. We were visiting Gatlinburg. We stayed up late one night watching Dexter, and a little after midnight on Nov 21st, he said he had a surprise. He gave me an egg with Toothless inside. I gave him a funny look, but I was grateful for a tiny plushie of my favorite cartoon. Then he pulled out the ring then everything made sense.
The Smokies have a special place in my heart. We would always do getaways up there when he was in town. It is where we do most of our hiking adventures together. We are most looking forward to finally getting to be one after 11 years together.
We are big foodies. We enjoy trying out new restaurants, especially Asian cusine. We love going on hikes together, me for nature and him for the exercise. We collect anime figures and posters.
