East Tennessee Mini Wedding
Maureen and Jon – October 14, 2023
Maureen and Jon embarked on a picturesque journey to Chapel in the Hollow for their East Tennessee mini wedding. Their special day was adorned with the rustic charm of champagne and textured rust fabrics, beautifully accompanied by our bohemian florals and the warm glow of lanterns. It was the perfect atmosphere for love to flourish.
Maureen was an absolute vision in her sleeveless dress, graced with a mid-length train that added an air of timeless elegance. She was not only the stunning bride but also the creative genius behind all the lovely florals they carried – even the enchanting floral hoops that the flower girls held. Talk about a personal touch! Jon perfectly complemented her in his dapper tan suit, adding an extra touch of class to their wedding day.
Their day was filled with touching moments, including a heartwarming first look with her little boy. The love between this family is truly something special. Prior to their ceremony, Maureen and Jon shared an intimate first look at the mossy tree behind the chapel. These moments of connection and anticipation were simply beautiful. As a touching part of their wedding ceremony, they included a sand ceremony with their three children, uniting their family in a symbol of love and unity. The perfect way to start their new chapter.
It was a day filled with love, warmth, and beautiful moments. We couldn’t be happier for Maureen and Jon as they begin this incredible new journey together.
From the Bride:
We met on Hinge dating app. As two busy single parents with full time jobs is there any other way?! For our first date, we met for a paddle boarding excursion that then turned into dinner and a late night with friends talking and playing cornhole. Jon proposed to me on our best friends back porch on October 15, 2022. Although Jon’s initial plan was to propose a week later on the bourbon trail apparently his excitement to ask could no longer wait.
We decided on Chapel in the Hollow in East Tennessee because we wanted an intimate beautiful landscape for our backdrop. We are looking forward having the sand ceremony with our children to symbolize our blended family. And sharing our love with our closest family and friends.
For fun, Aside from blending our families and raising our 3 littles (Savannah age 10, RJ age 7 and Harlee age 6); We love spending our down time together sitting on a patio or porch with good music & company. We both love the water whether it’s the lake or the beach. Jon plays Golf regularly and I am a newbie at pickle ball.
