Shanon and Derek’s Intimate Wedding at Chapel in the Hollow

For our final wedding of November, Shanon and Derek joined us along with their daughter and pup as well as her mother and niece. Throughout the ceremony, every time they were asked a question about making a commitment for their marriage their adorable little girl would chirp up with a big, “Yes!” Thank you so much for choosing to celebrate with us! We enjoyed having you all. Congratulations!!!

From the bride:
Derek and I met at Guitar Center, where he had been working for years and I had just started. He says he tried to impress me the whole day we first met but I can’t even remember talking to him at all that day! They often say love at first sight, but falling in love is just as wonderful! Our first date was actually cancelled because Derek was sick. I showed up at his apartment with wine (for myself) and food and we listened to music and talked about everything and anything the whole night. I could tell he was super nervous and I tried to act cool and calm but I was just as nervous! We both started talking about getting married, and because we are both adventurers, eloping was the most fun idea. We both have a love for country music and Tennessee so when we talked about eloping, & naturally we decided there would be no better place. We love renovating our home, listening and playing music and enjoying time with our daughter.
