Our first bride on September 14th, Leana, was a vision in her dress next to her handsome hubby, Josh. Somehow, she managed to look effervescent in the crazy heat we were having, and I think you’re going to swoon over these pictures!! Congratulations Leana and Josh!!

From the Bride:
Josh and I met through his sister, Amber. She knew we were both single and looking for someone who was going to love us as we were, existing children and all.

We both had two children from our past relationships so we thought it was best if we met at a place where we could let the kids play and we would be able to talk and hangout with all the kids. We met at Rotary Park in Johnson City. It was love at first sight! We took turns playing with each other’s kids, and then of course all together while getting to know little bits and pieces about one another’s life. Then, we gave each other a hug, and parted ways for the day.

Josh proposed to me. He had my best friend help me get myself ready thinking we were going on a date. He asked my sister coming over so she could record it. He had all 4 of our boys hold a sign that spelled out “Will you marry me?” Each boy held one sign up. He covered my eyes and walked me through the back door where they were all standing. It was perfect.

What I looked forward to most on my wedding day was getting to marry my best friend! Us joining our two families together and making one, officially. I wanted to get married in the fall, but wasn’t wanting to wait until October or November so we just decided to get married in September when the weather is usually perfect.

For fun, we like to watch our favorite tv shows and eat, lol. If we get time to ourselves, which is rare, we like to go to the movies and out to our favorite restaurant. Our days usually revolve around our children and playing with them and keeping them happy.
