Heather and Bobby’s Intimate Wedding Elopement Chapel Pigeon Forge Tennessee

Heather and Bobby – July 13, 2019

Amidst the thunderstorms, Heather and Bobby stopped in for an elopement. Heather is a seasoned Amazon shopper so she found almost everything she needed from there including that amazing dress!! They were super sweet, and we really enjoyed getting to spend some time with them. Congratulations Heather and Bobby!

From the bride:
Our proposal was very intimate and unexpected. It was Christmas Eve, and we had just finished wrapping presents, cleaning house and getting our showers before bed…it was nearly 10pm. So here I am ready for bed, PJ’S AND NO MAKEUP, and he says, “well we both should open up one gift.” Um ok, sure. Next thing I’m doing is reading this card that he poured his heart into, and under it was this huge box. I open the box and it had a smaller red box inside. When I opened the small red box, it was the most beautiful diamond ring I had ever seen. So my response was, “WHAT IS THIS? TELL ME RIGHT NOW WHAT THIS IS?” I’m oblivious I know lol. He then said what do you think it is, and got down on one knee right in front of me on the couch and asked me to be his wife. In turn I said YES and cried like a baby.

If you didn’t know Bobby you’d assume he was born and raised in Tennessee. I swear 95% of his attire is Vols wear. He’s loved Tennessee since he was younger even though we are both born and raised in Florida. Besides his obsession with Tennessee, it was our very first vacation as a couple. Since we have been dating, we have taken several vacations there and just enjoy the mountains, mother nature and the peacefulness it offers. One day this will be where we call home.

Our wedding date actually believe it or not has no special meaning. Our work schedules can be complicated so we narrowed it down to July and then once we booked the cabin we wanted we narrowed down a date. But now, July 13th, 2019 will be etched in our hearts forever. 🙂

For fun, we live in Florida so of course we are Disney pass holders. We enjoy spending time at the parks when they aren’t overly crowded. Our newest hobby is camping, or glamping you could say (with this Florida heat you need A/C). We have a travel trailer that we take to several state parks with our 3 dogs and 13yr old(soon to be step son). We cant wait to see what our future holds as the New Mr. & Mrs. Kirkpatrick.
