Courtney and Patrick’s Intimate Wedding at Chapel in the Hollow

From the Bride:
We didnt have a specific theme for the wedding but I knew I wanted a boho/woodsy feel to our day. Chapel in the Hollow was a beautiful place so we didn’t need any decoration. For our reception at The Park Grill in Gatlinburg, we had our own private from for the dinner that followed the ceremony.  Our cake and cupcakes were made from a friend in Indiana so we traveled miles with them!  The feel of the dinner room was already woodsy but I made our centerpieces and  added a guest book table.  the guest book wasn’t the traditional guest book, it was a wood sign that said “Schuyler” and our wedding date on it, all guest signed and it is hanging up in our home. The centerpieces were a wood slice accompanied with a lantern and candles.
I loved my flowers so much! I wanted a boho feel to my bouquet and Cupids Petals did not disappoint. I wanted a boho feel to my dress, too, and I fell in love with the third dress I tried on at David’s Bridal.  I loved the back of my dress and the way it fit perfectly! For my hair Southern Belle Beauty did a wonderful job because I told them I wanted loose curls and a side loose braid and they did amazing!
We met in the summer of 2012 when we were both working at Buffalo Wild Wings serving.  It took Patrick over a month to get my number, but I am absolutely positive that now that I made the right choice by giving it to him!  We had our daughter in 2014, I graduated college in 2016, and I am a special education teacher now. He graduated the fire Academy in 2016 and is a fire fighter now. We were engaged in 2016, bought our first home in 2017, had our son to make our family complete in 2018, and also got married in 2018.  It has been a wonderful adventure.  Beverly shores in Michigan City Indiana is one of our favorite places to go.  It is where we did our gender reveal for our daughter, and he also proposed to me here as well.  Lake Michigan is one of our favorite places and every sunset is different so it is one of our favorite spots ever, so I am definitely glad he could incorporate such a special place for us to also propose to me as well.  We were with our daughter and the sun was just about set and he was acting super nervous.  He finally got down on one knee in the sand and asked me to marry him and I said YES!
The most special moment of our day was the ceremony itself.  I could not wait to walk up to my best friend.  We knew we wanted something  small and intimate and we picked the perfect spot with Chapel in the Hollow.  We wanted only the most special and closest people with us on our special day and everyone who came was just that!
